... forests, lavender’s fields and Balaton Lake surrounding the village. There is also a huge cathedral, sort of pilgrimage place for Catholics in Hungary. It felt so unreal to be there but so nice at the same time. I moved back to my childhood and made stories in my mind about little people living in little houses in a little village.

The wines are from their own vineyard on the slopes above the castle. I try both red and white. Mick sticks to Weizen Bier.
