The view from the ship of traditional white houses with blue trim was unmistakeable Greek! We took a water taxi from the ship to Mykonos to walk around town and enjoy the picture-postcard views. The weather was slightly warmer than yesterday and we enjoyed a rain-free day. The sun actually shone brightly this ...

We stopped in at the gyros shop on the way home and it was amazing. When we got back to the room we found there was no aircon so the room was an absolute sauna! Worst sleep ever! Ready for a swim first thing tomorrow! Awesome night ...

... simply put a hand-lettered sign in the front window stating "Town" or "Port" depending on the direction they were travelling. Funny, but still the best transportation deal around! The topography of Mykonos is more arid and rocky than other islands we've visited so far. The town is famous for its white-washed buildings with blue shutters and doors. Also, the streets are narrow and convoluted, supposedly to confound any ...
