I flew into Satiago de Compostella on Ryan Air for all of 0.01p and then had a 45min drive to Sanxenxo where Craig and the Pirates of the Caribbean team were based. First word out of Joe's mouth this morning: oooooooohhhhhhhh......... We are starting to seriously feel the walk. Knees and feet are complaining seriously. It isn’t hard to find a singular hórreo, while driving through the land between the rias, but it is nice to come across three on a slope of a farm.

So its mothers day today and because we are in a foursome of 3 mothers we had a "lay" day and took the BUS. From Tui to Redondela and then walked the hour to our hotel Anton at Soutoxusto.
Very different to our beautiful Portugal. Bigger, newer, dirtier and less gardens, although we have not hit the camino yet.

... a festival with bagpipe music and a singer in one of the squares. Later we discovered it was a festival celebrating Galician culture and language. We found a couple of beautiful wide boulevards down by the port. We enjoyed walking down the center garden strip, looking at all the flowering trees and several statues.
