Typhoon Nangka has made our Mount Fuji climb uncertain for the last few days. We were staying in Fujikawaguchiko (best name so far?) at the foot of the volcano, which is still active btw and hard hats have recently been brought in as they're expecting things to happen! ... in the torrential rains and were trying to find a museum to park us in for a few hours. Andre and I finally couldn't take anymore, decided to cut our losses and head back to Tokyo. We asked for our tickets for the bullet train but were refused. We were told that we would have to make our back on our own. We caught a taxi to the nearest train station and were able to figure out how to take 3 commuter trains (over 100 km distance) to get back to Tokyo.
