      ... I was lucky to meet a German couple going my direction, one of whom had native level Spanish. She did the negotiation and we shared a taxi to the ferry port. Once getting away from the boarder, and through the brightly coloured town of Rivas, I was already thinking that I liked Nicaragua much more than the over touristed 'United States of Panama and Nicaragua'.

      me to Oscar and asked me to help Oscar feed the animals and milk the goats. We
      went through the whole farm giving out rations, laying chickens, ducks, pigs,
      turkeys, meat chickens, meat goats, sheep and the Emus! After everyone in the
