We docked at Naha early this morning. It is the capital of the Japanese Island Okinawa, famous for the World War 2 battle of the same name, and indeed was 'occupied' by the Americans for 25 years after the war ended. There is still a large US force here, some 30,000 soldiers and their families. The weather is perfect, early twenties and that warm sub-tropical humidity that gently wraps itself around you. Just before 8am we went to the dining room for breakfast and met Michael, Marilou's husband. After breakfast we sat on the deck for a short time as it is nice and warm outside. We then went to trivia in the Schooner Bar. After trivia was finished we went to the future tours presentation in the La Scala Theatre. They had a special talk about the Quantum of ...

... the promenade. This lasted for 15 minutes, so it was now time for dinner again. Dinner once again was nice. After dinner we went and had a couple of silly photos taken with Terry,Fay, John and Allison , then headed off and sat in the aquarium bar while we waited for the show to start. John Taylor the illusionist was the entertainer tonight. We had seen him before but still interesting to watch his show. By the time the show finished it was now 10pm and time for ...
