We are settled in our cute apartment and after another sleep in we arose at 9am to face another day. I have not previously mentioned the weather, it has been nothing other than beautiful ,just like Spring days in Sydney. Ken sitting outside on balcony enjoying a glass of wine at 5.30 in tee shirt. We have been truly blessed with sunny days and no wind at this stage. We enjoyed a coffee and croissant for breakfast and set off again for a full day of walking Around ...

The train ride was a pleasant one, we passed fields of corn, sunflowers and fruit trees, all harvested by farmers wearing big straw hats and emerging from terracotta roofed farmhouses. Closer to Marseille we spotted the water and the first of the super yachts. Marseille harbour was a mess of white masts and French flags. We had been looking forward to Marseille- I had ...

... 10min walk) we had already booked and paid for it. 2hrs later Zarah and I were still waiting in the lobby with all our luggage & we'd checked out. We were very concerned and had the hotel call the hire car place. Finally they arrived after issues with upgrading the car and getting lost on the way back. We drove 15min to a National Park in Marseille and hiked up the mountain for the gorgeous view! Finishing on a positive. Onto Nice ...
