        ... red ants in the bed! That was it, I'd had enough and asked to change rooms, the man at reception explained they knew about the ants in the bed problem and have been trying to replace the beds. At least no fuss was made about changing rooms. We spent a few days in Chetumal getting ready for our border crossing, sorting out bank cards and making sure the car was ready.         ... in the hostel to continue my planning for a while, waiting for other guests to arrive. I also had that second skype call with my parents, just as promised the day before. I was the only one in a 16 bed dorm, for a while at least. Later in the afternoon there was a French guy and another Mexican arriving, his name was Said. There was literally nothing to do in Chetumal, as it is only the border town and these usually do not have a lot to offer.
