Noch ist Arbeit angesagt. Aber am Freitag früh morgens gehts endlich los. Mit der DB zum Flughafen Frankfurt und in den Flieger (zum 1.Mal mit Lufthansa) nach Rio de Janeiro.
Dort regnet es seit ein paar Wochen ziemlich heftig. Den Bundesstaat Rio de Janeiro und Minas Gerais hat es besonders erwischt. The frequency of the fireworks increased and we could see them from our window. By midnight the sky was ablaze with explosions; the new thing for us was to be high enough so that they were exploding at eye level!
