    ... played songs on an accordion all night while the locals sang along to the songs. We then went to Peter's Brauhaus which was filled with people dressed for the carnival. The beer there was amazing. After Peter's we went to the local kebab shop and had a yufkta and the guy actually baked the bread on the spot for us.     ... finally make it I to the apartment at about 8. Luckily I learnt from our last trip to keep supplies handy so instead of needing to go late at night looking for milk etc I was able to unpack my emergency long life milk, pasta and tin of tomatoes to prepare dinner whilst others showered and we were at least able to eat by 9. On the plus side, the apartment is two blocks from the Cathedral and is a very nice penthouse. Thank you Baden Powell. ...

    ... at the top we had to be careful of falling ice from the spier above and by the time we got down to street level the authorities had closed the climb so we were lucky we got up there when we did.
