    ... unreal, sun is fierce and not a breath of wind. Afternoons on the balcony are the order of the day, listening to all the birds shouting at each other and arguing over bread dropped on the floor at the cafe by the lake.
    Only downside is having to wait until 7 till the restaurants open. Not easy for two gluttons like us. Had a rubbish meal first night too which is enough to put us in a bad mood for about a week. Italy almost done. ...

Unknown to Nate, this man was illegally fishing and so it turned into somewhat of a chase. We were quite entertained with good stories.     I chose to return to Locarno via Mt. Verita’. This entailed a bit of a climb, a little over 100 m, through a series of several switchbacks. Needless to say I switched to the “high assistance” mode- boy that was great! Still the climb was not without personal effort but it took the real pain out of the climb. Where can I buy one of these bikes?!
