... Too early to check in we hop on the train and head to Munich. We so the self guided Rick Steves walk. The Hafbrauhaus... It started raining so we has to stay in and have a couple liters... Very good! A little more walk and sight seeing...St. Peters church, Viktualienmarkt... Against out better judgement, back to the Hafbrahaus for more beer. Finally find the train back to our place. ... of course) and get all our pans/cutlery/bowls from reception and try to prepare our meal in a box of a room with plenty of others wanting to do the same thing. Pretty much the only meal I've seen other tourists make anywhere I have been is meat, tomato sauce and pasta. Like seriously 100% of them. Very strange as it isn't really the easiest meal to make. Newark has three BF seats open and I’d be #1 on the standby list, but the flight leaves at 9:20 a.m., 2:20 before IAD. So I will get some extra sleep and try for IAD at 11:40.

MUC-ORD at 12:20 p.m. tomorrow has three open in Global First and BusinessFirst is oversold by one, meaning there’s only two premium seats open. I’d be #3 on the SA list, so that does not look promising. Let’s hope the nonstop to IAD works out!
