... busy schedule, probably the highlight of our travels to date. The camp was built for 200 but had as many as 2000 in it. Unbelievable some of the stories and how prisoners were gassed. The day was completed with drinks and nice meal at a Bavarian Restaurant, no we did not order traditional Bavarian food.

The following day we walked around Munich visiting all the top spots, our tour leader Captain, had researched the night ...

Quiet day today had another sleep in, it's wet and cold outside but forcing ourselves to go see the last couple of attractions on our list. A late night snack and then out for the ...

... Very modern, but what it lacks in charm is more than made up by its proximity to the airport.

I spent one afternoon wandering around the main drag of town. Not much doing, altho I found a burger place that had an American kitsch theme, complete with a six foot Statue of Liberty and a sign that said "Best Burgers in Town!"… I am going to go with "only burgers in town" which is they only ...

... Munich people a bit stand-offish! Our plans are to hit the hotel, relax for a while and then, hit the Hoffbrahaus!!!

We did just that. Hoffbrahaus was truly only 10 minutes away from our hotel. Nice, but chilly walk. We were here 40 years ago, but it was a bit more rustic and less commercialized. But it was still the Hoffbrahaus in Munich, Germany. As usual, they had an "oompa band" playing great German and Bavarian songs, and ...
