The contrast between Disneyland Paris and the "real world" of Paris was quite profound. From the parks it was a simple matter of grabbing our bags and taking the shuttle to the station, where we bought our tickets and hopped aboard. Yesterday was mountains and snow, huge trees and deep gorges. Today was more about more placid rivers and lakes.

We were awake early, before the alarm, and at St Gervais Les Bain Le Fayet (lol) station at about 6.30 for our 7.03 train. Funny how it doesn't take long when you know the way! It's really cool! Later that night, we faced a dilemma: how to get to Paris? Regional trains ...

Why would you stand in the security line for 45 minutes, get to the front, and then decide to look for your passport, liquids, etc? Because you're a moron, that's why. Stay home. I really think I'll only ever enjoy flying private. With Jon Hamm. That would be perfect and I'm sure it will happen someday. So, the Frankfurt airport is a ridiculous ...
