We left dark and early on a water taxi for the train station. It was 2 and a half hours to Milan and I slept half the way there. Milan to Basel was 4 hours and a beautiful ride. We decided to make full use of our semester ticket which gives us free transport around the region and thus ended up at Breisach one weekend.
The weather was really gloomy, making the whole trip quite worthless. The view of the rhine river was nothing spectacular.
I guess the only time we'd be back to this place is to take a bus to Colmar.
