... night of salsa and dancing around 3. Leaving Cali the next day, I knew that this had been the perfect intro to Colombia. It is a truly beautiful city during the day with great, nice people (and vegetarian restaurants), and by night, a city full of the best, most passionate salsa you've ever seen in your life. I'm just glad to say I salsa-ed in the Salsa Capital of the WORLD.
I realized I took no photos of the place... So I snapped two before checking out of the hostel ...

... br> De volgende ochtend, na een hele fotosessie met alle brandweermannen, hebben Magda, Kirsten en ik de bus genomen richting Salento omdat de Argentijnen besloten toch eerst nog ergens anders heen te gaan. ... Cali is about 900m above sea level so the weather is between 27 - 30 degrees year round and cools off to about 18 or 19 overnight - talk about perfect climate. ... by chance, the artizan market, we walked around and i bought my first pair of earnings ont eh trip ! acutally i got 2!! :D

Back to dance class on thursday, but this week the teachers had invited us to Tin Tin Deo.. so off we went with the whole teaching family!! and it really is a family. the mum and the sun and daugher are teachers and the rest are young people who went and learned at the school for years! kinda how work is set up.. love it a real community feel. ...
