    Yes... we finally made it to the highlight of the trip for Eamon...... The Sound of Music tour :)We spent this afternoon touring round Salzburg in a mini-bus with 6 Americans and David our tour leader, visiting key buildings and film spots from the film, whilst in between times singing along with the sound track.....E loved it as you can imagine :) Seriously though...     ... today exploring the town which has an inhalatorium - yep - it threw us too as we'd never come across one ! It is a building that you walk around and it has hot vapours coming out from the walls which are made of black thorn bushes, and have warm salt/brine water running over them.     ... br> From there, we cold actually walk to the Fortess Hohensalzburg. This housed an entire village at one time. Once you got inside, it was almost maze-like. So many different facets to it and quite large. This also overlooked the town.

    Once we got back into town, we headed for the car or should I say, we set in SEARCH for the car - but that is another story.

    ... Beautiful landscaped gardens, fountains and the magnificent Mirabell Schloss in the background. I skip around for a while but my excitement goes up a small notch when I discover the vine-covered tunnel raced down by the Von Trapp children, Mr Fletche tries to ignore my “Fa…a long, long way to run” pose but I won’t get up until a piccie has been taken.
