      ... s house, not the boxer, but the man who founded the last Egyptian dynasty. His statue sat on a horse is in the square infront. We headed back to Dream Catcher, we were trying to be clever and maintain the height we were at to avoid climbing to the top of the hill again, unfortunately we got a bit lost in the maze of streets and had to climb quite a way back up to find our way!

      ... done by placing large fine nets under the trees and then shaking the branches with hooked poles. There are a few olive manufacturing visitors centres on the island, but they are all closed. We parked at the end of the village and walked up the mountain to the lake, it was very pleasant, not too steep and followed a deep ravine with a small river winding it's way down it.       ... is beautiful. We had a walk on the beach and found some really unusual pebbles,black snd white with sparkly bits, there are also a few remains of an ancient settlement. It looks as if 'Time Team' have been here, there are numerous trenches dug in lines and a handful of carved marble blocks. After a really pretty sun set catering made lasagne for tea and baked coffee and walnut muffins, whilst Les polished one of the pebbles with wet and dry paper to add to our stone ...

      ... of course farming, there are sheep and goats on the hillsides with shepherds and their dogs, grape vines cling to the steep slopes and the stubble from harvested crops remain on the patchwork of fields. We arrived at Thermes and parked on the Main Street, it's the only street!
