    We drove back into the last village that we passed through to fill with water. There was a small harbour and pleasant sea front. We then drove around the last part of the road around the island. The drive up was very picturesque, the road surrounded with ancient olive groves, the trunks of the trees are twisted and knarled, there are also rows of bee hives painted in bright colours.     ... painted houses set into the hillside with stone roofs. The roofs look like the stones have been placed just at random, there isn't any uniformity to them, however they must keep out the rain! The coast is very rugged and the sea us a lovely turquoise colour.
