Just can't beat this start to a vacation
... BARBARESCO WINE RELEASE FESTIVAL!!! Holy cow, how do you beat that?
We walked to the lovely Tratorra for lunch and then spent the rest of the day and evening at the festival followed by dinner at one of the 3 restaurants in town where we were waited on by the owner and his chef wife.
No way you beat that for the first day of a vacation, at least not for me and Nancy.

Coming back to the city center we took a taxi (which is not a common habit for us we are more walking people) to a place called eataly...we have been told that they serve very good food and we should go there and this is what we did. Aviv is finally sleeping...
... good night near malpensa we took a bus to Torino which will be our first destination! The ride went really well, as it took only two hours and aviv behaved perfectly! We got to Torino and decided that instead of waiting for a cab, we would walk to the place where we are staying by foot. This was a nice way to get to know the city, but with two suitcases and a baby took us much longer than expected... We are staying here for two ...
