... to be seen wrapped in the cloths so we decided we would do the Vatican tomorrow instead. I had purchased hop-on-hop-off bus passes online before we left Duncan so we made our way to the bus stop nearby. We got good top level seats and took the bus as far as the Coliseum. We first walked through an area of excavated ruins known as the Palatino. Amazing number of buildings and artifacts dating back almost 2000 years. Then we ...

... feel like we're riding 1st. Leather seats with electronic controls for reclining, WIFI, free snacks and drinks, 300 kmh! Arrived at our hostel at about 7pm. Great spot. Kind of like a supersized version of the KOA! We've got our own A/C bungalow complete with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a kitchen. There are literally 100's of these bungalows along with camping spots. There's a supermarket and large restaurant on site and a large swimming ...

Reluctantly we left our beautiful agri tourismo and headed down south today. We broke up our journey to Lucca by making a few stops at Modena. We couldn't drive through this town without stopping at the World Famous Ferrari museum. The boys were of course in heaven and Sebbi predictably tore around the place trying to climb in all the million pound machines but for Ella and I it was more a case ' once you've seen one fast red ...

... calories it was home to have a hot shower and get cleaned up.

Following happy hour we headed out to "Trattoria Serghei" where we had some of the most delicious pasta dishes so far on the trip. The resturant only served traditional Bolognese food. The owner was taken aback when I enquired whether he had Mozzarella cheese with the tomato on the menu. Not here sunshine. After that it was home to bed for an early start the next day. Next stop would be ...
