... from farmers..Everything was so tasty..fruits, meats, cheese.

    ... Ajaccio was across the sea/beach. As it wasn't too late when we arrived, we had some time to stop by the beach and enjoy our first 1/2 day of vacation.

    Later in the evening - although we have planned to go to centre ville later in the evening to have dinner and walk around, we were too exhausted and we went straight to bed...but... before we did that, I had to check the closest boulangerie for breakfast ...

    Had a wonderful week in Corsica - beautiful French Island in the middle of the Mediterranean - lots of beaches, mountains and little towns. The food and culture is much more Italian than French and pretty much no one spoke English. Went down South to Bonifacio first, then to Ajaccio which is the capital. Overall a very relaxing 5 ...

    ... was limited and our Italian is almost non-existent we communicated though smiles, hugs and warm handshakes. As is so often noted by brothers and sisters who travel internationally, their literature display was identical to ours. They even had 'Bible Teach' books in English, no doubt to cater for US, English and Australian tourists et al. Meeting our dear brothers was a real highlight of our day.

    ... saw some great Impessionist paintings, including some Monet, Renoir, Sisley etc., then totally out of energy, we headed back across the Tuileries to home.
