... pas directement sur Puerto Montt par hazard, et oui mais malheureusement pas de place pour moi dans leurs voitures. Dommage, parce qu'à mon avis on aurait bien rigolé!!! Je retrouve donc les français à l'entrée du parc, et après la descente des 7km et un petit café dans leur voiture toute équipée, j'enchaîne sur le bus pour Puerto Montt, je crois que je n'aurais jamais fait mieux en transports en commun! C'est ce qu'on appelle une journée bien remplie!

... the plume of ash coming from Volcan Puyehye. When we start riding, there is just a tiny amount of ash falling from the sky, like a light dusting of snow coming down. As the cloud inches towards us, the sky becomes gray as though a heavy fog is moving in. We pass by a group of horses nibbling on scraps of grass protruding from the thick layer of ash on the ground – poor horses look so skinny.

It was quite sad to be leaving Bariloche and the friends we had made there, but we were both excited for the bus ride ahead. We took the 7:30 bus to Puerto Montt on Thursday morning. We bought our tickets really early so we were able to choose any seat we wanted. It was a two story bus and we choose seats on the top story right in front of the windows.

... was about 30 seconds in duration and involved pointing towards our left, not understanding a word, that is where we headed to find a number of taxi´s waiting. As Puerto Montt isn´t a tourist stop we couldn´t find the usual type of hostel so had to opt for a B&B type
place instead, we gained confidence in our choice as after giving the taxi driver the name of the street ...

... pieces of abalone, an enormous pile of peeled crab, prawns, muscles, pipis, lion claws and a barnacle. after lunch we looked at the island of chiloe, this is a fishing island. To finish off the day we walked around the down to help digest our huge seafood dinner. This was the first day of the tour when the weather was a little sour. The rain and fog was heavy enough for us not to go sight seeing. We skipped dinner that night because we were still full!
