... Back to the hotel and car, we head off to explore the coast further along to a large-ish town - Calvi. The coastal tourism is quite different here to what we experienced in Sardinia and at Bonifacio. There are large wide beaches here, no small coves and so, no mega-big yachts and motor cruisers. Today we headed off well prepared for any sort of weather.
Again climbing mountains. Weather was hot! Climb along a river valley and up the mountain. Mostly out in the open and very hot. Had to take clothes of rather than put them on.
Jen not feeling the best so she went back to her accommodation and we said we would walk for about 4 hours.

A short tour around the old city of corte, a quick drink, then back to browns accommodation and local sausages, salad and of course the mandatory vino.
