      ... 6pm we met a friend (David) from the UK for dinner. David has been working in Amsterdam for 5 years, but unfortunately his wife has been unable to find work here so she is still living in the UK.       ... a drink before picking up Deejay. We walked around for ages and ages and somehow ended up a kilometre from home in the big square again wit heaps of pubs. We went to a place called coco's outback which had really cheap drinks. I got somethig called a Steiner which ended up being a litre of beer.       Spent some more time in the Rijksmuseum, having not had enough last trip. Many masterpieces there. Also visited the interesting Dutch Resistance Museum, a couple of canal houses and Nieuwe Kerk (new church), where the World Press Photo competition photographs were being exhibited. Amazing work!
