... rum cake and still had to buy 3 bags of sweets on the way back to the hotel! Sarah gave me the most fantastic foot massage in our room and now we're in the bar with a very cold bottle of Sauvignon blanc. Oh well we are now back in our usual haunt, Amnesia! It would be a sad good bye but I told her that I promised to come find her again the next time I returned to this great city...hopefully in the very near future! It was definitely a bit chilly out (as usual), but the sunshine was making the ride much more enjoyable and I felt confident about where I was going (unlike the first time). As ...

... there, followed by the ferry back to the central station, and we made our way back to the apartment to freshen up and head out. Sacha had recommended we try a local cocktail bar called Hiding in Plain Sight but we didn't end up getting there. We felt like Thai for dinner, and after enduring a rare bad customer service experience in Amsterdam where we went into a large Thai place and were thrown the menus by a rude Thai woman we found a much nicer small Thai restaurant and enjoyed a ...
