        ... golden beach and a turquoise sea. On the way we stopped in Caldera which was a small seaside town, amajor port of exporting all the minerals which are dug from under the Atacama desert.         The 09.00 bus to Copiapů on Friday left dead on 09.00. Buses in Chile seem very efficient. It took about four and a half hours to get there and as the journey went on the vegetation, sparse as it was to start with, became scarcer and scarcer.
