    ... a pair of Argentine students and arranged to go out for a drink with them. They were both girls, studying journalism and psychology in La Plata. When I met them to go out they were wrapped up in leather jackets long cardigans, jeans, boots and scarves. I arrived downstairs in pumps and a thin hoody. They looked at me in horror.

    ... was offering us FREE ice cream!! And not just a taste or a kiddie cone, a delicious waffle cone with 2 flavours scooped high. We made sure we came back the next night so that we could visit our smiley new friend and this time brought cash with us!     Well, we survived the 6 hr bus trip on Fri. Which is a good thing as the next bus trip is 19hrs (no that's not a typo!) to San Carlos Bariloche over on the border with Chile and our kick off point to explore Patagonia. I will be madly injecting blood thinners and frightening fellow passengers with my leg exercises:)) Its a cama bus, similar to the one the other day, which hopefully Dan will figure out how to post of pic of it right here. ...

    ... coming out so we got off the bus and chilled out on the beach for the rest of the sunlight hours. This beach was packed and full of holidays makers, it was difficult to find even a small space to lay our towels out. Once we had got settled and was chilled out, the whole beach were on their feet.
