        ... the piece of paper, at this point we were starting to get annoyed. After this, we went over to the crowed ticket machines to reserve a seat as we should have done for the following trip. It was a bit frightening as sprookers(pic pocketers) continuously tried to help people (pretend) but really to get payed for it or to rob. After about an hour of chaos the professional ticket person eventually helped us and we reserved some seats (phew). So, eager to go some here we decided to travel to ...

        ... 150 US and up for a short ride. The vaporettos are fun and you get a very similar experience except you don't go down small canals. But, you're not right next to the sewer water either, and there's no danger of getting splashed. Yes, they still flush toilets into the canals. It is an open sewer that can emit some nasty smells and you do NOT want to touch that water.

        ... trying to put roses in your hands, laser lights shining at your feet and glowing things being shot into the air above you. If you can manage to block them out, the square is gorgeous. Lights cover the buildings that surround the square and there are 3 restaurants that have live music serenading the diners. The rich sit at the tables but the rest of us just stand in the back to listen.
