The car ride to Alajuela took about 1 1/2 hours. Still ended up taking a detour even with the map. There are no street signs nor even any signs to San Jose. Fortunately the Hampton Inn is almost directly across the street from the airport.

Another day in San Jose... :). It's been a blast full of laughter, good food, and newness! Lauren says: After 2 days of having cold showers we have finally figured out how to get the hot water pumping and it was a very exciting milestone for us. Besides being excited about the hot water we have also built some great relationships with the Spanish staff here. They are so friendly and we are all getting along great. The kids games ...
