I arrived in San Jose yesterday morning after a long 6 hour bus journey from San Miguel to San Jose with a stopover in jicaral. Sam had kindly asked if Jorge (the guy meeting me at the bus station) could take me to my hotel instead of the oyster hostel but I didn't quite realise what the bus station was actually like in San Jose.
