The mighty Dolomite Passes
... about 40 minutes or so up here at the summit of "Pordoi pass" I decided I better make tracks. The road down the pass was great and with the sun as it was it was more like midsummer than winter. The road was dry all the way so some great fun was to be had on this wonderful winding road with its sweeping bends etc.

The first 20 or so miles along route 42 are nothing special but there were a few side roads heading up to passes etc and I was very tempted to head up a few of them and take a look but eager to see the Dolomites put a end to that.
