... from Sydney were also enjoying the snow sports so we took photos of each other. I was the only person snowboarding on the mountain (lots were walking it) & from what I saw in the couple of hours I spent on the snow, the only Topdeck person who did snow sports (I lost the group when we got off the train & only ran into a couple of them again on the tour). The best place about the "tour" (self-guided, you followed the signs) ...

I was discussing this sport with Joelene and we both agree that it was probably invented by backpackers who loved skydiving but simply couldn't afford the cost of the plane. Simple, subtract the cost of the plane from the equation and go ...

... We reunited for a lovely walk down and a snowball fight on the way. The munchkins ended up very wet and muddy!! After a (too short) rest this afternoon we took the boat into Interlaken - such a grand old boat it was and she went at a fair rate of knots too! After getting off the boat it was all a bit of a disAster - kids just too fractious to do anything with. Chose somewhere for dinner which was just awful and missed the bus home ...

... and nutella are life-savers when it comes to travelling) and are back on our way through the Alps. I don't know why but our GPS took us on a different route this time, through Germany. After driving through Germany for about a half hour, I realized we were on the go whatever speed you want Autobahn. No wonder people were flying past me while I was going 120km/hr (about 70mph). Naturally, we speed up to a cruising speed of about 155kph. I thought I had read before ...
