    ... the opposite direction and find Daniel's bar where we have dinner accompanied by squillions of Mosquitos all free of charge! Lucky David has his trusty aerogard with him as we are doing the Aussie salute like there is no tomorrow! Note to oneself ... eat lunch on the water front but have dinner inside, in the town centre in air conditioning! It was incredible, and no one could tell us why there were so many mossies. We have decided to not eat on the water front tomorrow night. .. ...

    ... nice through long grass. Finally many winding paths down to a road ...well what they call a road, I can see the church ..home base, good. It's good at least to fill up my water from the mountain stream .... And finally back in the town. Left at 10 and back at the hotel at 12 ...glad I gave myself plenty of time ...didn't quite plan on a mountain hike !! But it was beautiful and the forecast for rain ...I don't think ...

    ... the top and had a magnificent view as you can see in the photos. We played around in the snow taking photos then headed into the cafe for a glass of wine before descending the mountain again. We got off the train a stop earlier than Zermatt and walked the rest of the way down a few paths, passed a brook and into town for a kebab and a bit of shopping before heading to bed. Heading for Basel tomorrow by train to start our river ...

    ... but the meat a little less desirable as I prefer a nice New York Steak or Filet Mignon medium rare. Deserts, you cannot say no to. My one observation, however, is that the chef’s seem to not use any kind of garnish on their plates which leave them a bit more unattractive than they could be.     ... photo somewhat !! Susie and Suzanne got it almost straight away as I continued to type to them after, I just wished I had got the photo.

    Continuing..........The extra bus trips off the main train lines down were very worth taking though. The waterfalls at Trummelbach were inside a mountain and were amazing.
