Today we are in Zermatt. The day is cloudy so most of the higher mountains are obscured. Zermatt is car free but allows small electrical vehicles like taxis or delivery trucks. Last night in Luzern we were entertained with a lightning and thunder storm. The morning clear skies - we walked along the lakeshore, lovely. We ventured into the old town Luzern. its only when one looks carefully can you see tiny dots op people in the ice
encrusted walls of this mighty high mountain. Looking up at the peak there was
two tiny black dots in the snow which we all thought were rocks showing out.
Only when we saw them move did we realise they were tiny people. This of course
made us realise just how massive this peak really was.
