    On 9/9 we rode the Alpine Express gondola, then the Metro Alpine subterrainian cable to reach the Ice Pavillion, the largest ice grotto in the world. In the grotto there were pathways with many ice sculptures along the way.     ... ever seeing such a variety of plants in such a healthy condition except at Kew Gardens. The layout is very formal, but there are statues dotted about everywhere and it was extremely picturesque –bright blue skies, green, green plants, grey statuary, flowers of every hue, and just to top it off, white peacocks wandering about.

    ... photo somewhat !! Susie and Suzanne got it almost straight away as I continued to type to them after, I just wished I had got the photo.

    Continuing..........The extra bus trips off the main train lines down were very worth taking though. The waterfalls at Trummelbach were inside a mountain and were amazing.
