... actually you're right. Despite a mass of visiting walking tourists, nothing in Saint-Larry Soulan was open. Apparently this was their time to close prior to the winter rush. The best meal we could rustle up was a pizza. Who eats pizza in France? Our Irish B&B friends, who stayed here for a week, ended up popping over to Spain for a hearty meal. (I enjoyed writing that last sentence)
Speaking of Spain, time to head there ourselves.
A lazy start as James is crook. Mod got up slowly are brekky and did some more prep for our Paris break through Aurbnb, who wanted a passport identification. Once completed - which was not as easy as it seems as it used Facebook and my birthday is incorrect on that site. Once complete it was time to have a nap as everyone was either away or in bed. Day 4: Argelès-Gazost – Col du Tourmalet – Col d’Aspin – Col de Peyresourde – Bagnères-de-Luchon Today is the most demanding of them all – three infamous tour climbs all in quick succession. We are feeling the effects of yesterday’s efforts.
