Hotel Montana Port-au-Prince

My hotel, the Montana, sits atop a hill overlooking the city and I have a fantastic view from my balcony. Unfortunately, you'll have to take my word for it because I only brought a disposable camera with me. When I get home I'll post the photos. Finally, after a day-long journey over bumps, through flooding riverbeds, past voodoo witch doctors, over shanty towns, past salt flats, and into every environment of Haiti, we returned to the Hotel Montana for a long-nights rest.

Leave for Miami from Lakeland. Drive 3 hours. Almost late, but arrive to find out flight canceled. Bumped to later flight, so wait in airport for 4 hours. Nap. Fly to Port-au-Prince for 1 hr 30 min. Picked up by Moses and Claude at the airport. Make our way to the hotel, Hotel Montana. Check in, drop items, eat dinner and discuss the day.

Richard has been here in Haïti for 2 months, and me now for 1 month, and we love the place! The one year contract (renewable) that Richard has here will pass very fast, we're quite positive about it.
