... Just amazing, amazing views. And very steep falls if you are silly enough to be silly on a mountain top. Ronaldo took us on a tour towards a gorgeous walled city that we had found accidentally taking a wrong turn on the way home from Not Venice but we eventually caved to the Hungriest 12yo In The World's request to stop for lunch and checked out Garda... Props to Nick and Rache for their choice of restaurant... Best Italian food we've had so far and we've eaten pretty ...

Also had a couple of women tagging-along who seemed to be following us for ages....(when I asked, they admitted they were) as it seemed that the correct bus had had a fire and they were also diverted, and they (fools) thought we looked as if we knew where we were going...... ... they spoke Italian, 2) they told us we would have to go north 20 KMs or south 10 KMs to find the internet. We had a wonderful meal in a local Trattoria where Carlo, the owner, served us and made the meal. On Saturday night we we're the only guests. The ride today was spectacular, riding down the valley with multi-thousand foot cliffs on either side. We also found grapes and apples. Both the vines and the trees were ladened to bursting with fruit. Pictures ...

... a walk because we needed to move – on the outskirts of the walled part of Spello. We did discover a great shoe shop and I bought some black patent leather shoes. Craig bought a winter vest and we found a good bakery store. Dropped some stuff off into the car and then we had a lovely lunch at La Cantina di Spello on the main road into Spello just before Piazza della Republica. We loved theantipasto of sforzino di potatoes with ricotta cheese (with parmesan) and truffles drizzled over ...
