We leave Interlaken and start heading along the wonderful twisty section
along the banks of Lake Brienz (I think that's what lake it is) where we
travelled a few days ago. From there its along through the valley between the
mountains of waterfalls until we reach the railway town of Meiringen where its a
total change of scenery.
So far this journey has been quite fast and the line relatively flat but
... his shoulders indicating no help at all, a lady and her daughter came up to me and asked if I was looking for tickets. There in her hand was my envelope, rescued from the bathroom stall where Amelia and I placed all our gear to pee. I gave her the biggest hug and found out she was from Vera Beach in Florida. She knew all about my family after reading the details on our tickets. That small-world intervention saved me from total family failure.

... to Johnny the tradition of Kings Bread in Switzerland. Kings bread is a dessert that consists of multiple rolls baked together. The beginning of January these rolls are bought and shared. Each person gets to tear off their own roll. Baked in one of them is a little clay figurine. The person who gets the figurine is said to be the King/Queen for the day! Johnny didn't want to par take in the tradition with me, so alone I chose my first roll to eat. What are ...
Today is cooler but it should be as we've traveled through the Austrian Alps into Switzerland, sadly I haven't seen one traditional Swiss house. We had to buy the Swiss motorway tax which costs about 35 euros which is quite cheap as it's for a year.
