So…you know when in University you were always told to 'backup’ your work. Ya..that would be some good and sensible Mama Histon advice. Do you think THIS particular Mama Histon had headed that advice…??? NOPE.

Mama Histon would also have said,

“Ask someone to fix it Karin!” – very good advice, my track record with IT is dubious at best ...

... it was time out for some shopping and a bite to eat. During the Christmas period, Lucerne has many shopping stalls and displays set up in the streets of the old part of town. During our shopping, we purchased a beautiful cuckoo clock which will be shipped home.

Tomorrow we leave picturesque Lucerne, and head to Zurich for a few nights.

... to show her that I did not need HER approval or smile. Did I just write all that? Had to get it off my chest. We got to the top after passing a mountain goat which was actually quite thrilling. The top of the mountain was amazing. Like being in a big cloud. Because we were. Couldn't see a thing. Not the view of the mountains, nothing. At one stage we couldn't even see 5 metres in front of us. We drank a hot chocolate to kill time in case the clouds moved ...

... is a cold breeze which really bites right through you. It also takes most of the snow off the trees which looks rather nice. I retrieved my nail polish from the shop-wow so impressed. I have sent off some postcards and wonder how long they will take to reach Cape Town. I do not receive enough signal outside of the hotel to post my blog so my days might not make sense.
