First full day started with a trip to the nearby food market housed in an enormous and beautiful light-filled 2 story building where we stocked up on incredible bread,eggs, delicious sausages, mixed salad greens, sweet tiny tomatoes, salami, stracchino that favorite cheese and the worlds best cantaloupe. We LOVE the markets and enjoy cooking at home, both tiring of eating out too much.

With shops down both sides, once occupied by butchers until evicted in 1593 by Duke Ferdinando, demanding only jewelers and goldsmiths to occupy which it is still in effect today. We continued our walk around, loving all the old buildings before finding our way back to the Duomo, heading back to Skippy before it got too dark. ...

... I managed to find a pair of flats finally, and some replacement boots (my favourite ones broke). And then before I got carried away with the shops we got some gelato, took a few photos and went back to the campsite early so we could chill out for a bit and do some laundry.
