    ... was not open until the afternoon, so we made our way up the hill overlooking the city to the plaza of Michaelangelo. Gotta check out the pics, some more gorgeous photos of another European city. Strolled around the top of the hill for a while and eventually made it back to the Tower, which we climbed and were rewarded with another incredible view of the city.     ... i was a little impressed with myself by recognizing so many names! thank you thank thank you very much. i was secretly snapping pictures, so enjoy. the next corridor was similar, but more recent rulers, people i did not recognize, and same with the third. although the third corridor had a few more rooms off to the side that housed some famous paintings. im no art history major, so i couldn't tell ya the names, but i recognized a few, maybe you will too. near ...
