      The travelling circus rolled on to FLorence today. I now understand why people (normally Europeans) believe in rail travel. Getting from Rome to FLorence via train was fast, efficient, comfortable, quiet and cheap.

      So we were booked into a very nice hotel by 11am today. We had a quick look at the local square (Piazza San Lorenzo) before going up to check out our mate David. Turns out late October is the goods folks. The weather has been awesome and not many crowds. Florence ...

      It was good we had moved inside, while we were tasting, it started to rain. Rain or no, it was time to move on to our next stop: lunch! We loaded up and headed to Panzano to eat at Dario Cecchini's butcher shop.       ... s such a beautiful city, nothing like Rome. Florence is very clean and organised in comparison. We will be back one day! The shopping is fantastic. Bought a bit to much and had to buy a bigger bag for the new items, I'm blaming Mathew's new leather ************* to San Remo and French riviera.... yeah! looking forward to the break for a week of sun and relaxation and the reason for our whole trip ...
