... along the banks of the river was narrow. We had to give way to on-coming traffic each time there was a parked car on the side of the road. I couldn't help thinking that had we been on a Trafalgar tour we wouldn’t be passing this way as the road was far too narrow. It was very picturesque. There were cruise boats and barges on the Rhine.
