... work since the early 1900's. Absolutely stunning. Decided to splurge and buy some amazing glasses. I thought we would buy six but Brad said why not buy the set. It was stunning. We ended up with 18 glasses - 6 red wine, 6 white wine and 6 champagne glasses with a beautiful decanter for 1500 euros. We came out again onto the Grand Canal, and were (at our request) taken across to S. Maria della Saluti - an enormous white domed church at the tip of the Dorsoduro part of Venice, which was built to give thanks for the end of the plague which killed 1/3 of the population in 1630. Again, we ...

... mushrooms, artichokes, onions, bell peppers, and cheese atop a thin crispy crust. Delicioso! If you've ever been to Venice you know it's a crazy maze of streets and canals. If you haven't---try to imagine a large plate mounded with spaghetti noodles. Now try to find the end of a noodle without moving the other noodles this is how jumbled the streets are here. Now add a zillion foot bridges and tall buildings you can't see over. Needless to say, we've spent ...
