        Spent our day on the Vaporettos. Went to beautiful church called Basilica Della Salute, just before the Piazza San Marco. A good number of tourists with luggage in tow were amongst us as many of the cruise ship passengers were heading to their next "experience".         Room was good, had a good view over the rooftops of Venice and could see the Basilica di Santa Maria.But it was very hot; 25 degrees C. It got hotter later; they did give us a fan and we opened the window. The hotel gave us a map - too small. By the way, we didn't buy ...
