Niewazne, kto wymyslil! Wazne, ze szczesliwie jestesmy na miejscu.<br>Kierujemy sie do Tihany, ktore znajduje sie na malym polwyspie na Balatonem.<br>Kazdy z nas ma jakies wspomnienia z tych miejsc: z blizszego lub dalszego dziecinstwa.<br>Pilotuje Marcin, dzieki ktoremu bezblednie trafiamy do celu.<br>Fajne lokum w wymarlym miasteczku znajdujemy bez trudu... jestesmy jedynymi ...

... to walk around a lake, cutting through farmer fields, containing a certain type of cows (I'm sure LP will correct me on the type), vineyards and along the coast to a church with a long walkway containing three crucifixes and the 14 stations of the cross.<br>

... of dutch guys who were in the cabin next to us and we proceeded to go for more drinks, the bar on the campsite was closing, but the barman filled a 1.5L plastic bottle with red wine from the 'tap'...<br><br>On our second night, the guys generiously treated us to a traditonal meal in a local restaurant in the town centre...<br><br>

... a mess in my (our) heads as well. Also little chores need doing on the van. In between, swimming, chilling and getting into the moment. Each of us for our own reasons.<br><br>One big thing that annoys us both is the fact that the fridge is not working! On electricity it does nothing (well the light is swithed on, but that&#8217;s it). On gas it gets a bit cold, but nothing good enough to save the cheese inside! Maybe this teaches us something ...

... a treacherous dirt road for 3 km. It soon turned into mud and was a real mess. <br><br>When we show up at our decided campsite they tell us it's $30 which is insane and 3 times what we've seen elsewhere. To finish our trial filled day we camped in a ditch.<br><br>The worst trial of all was that we wouldn't be able to make church tomorrow in Pecs as we didn't make it anywhere near as far as we needed to.

... turns out to be pretty low on the salad front but they do sell loose potatoes so I'll stock up. Lunch was followed by an exploration of the town without discovering anything of note. Wandering back to the campsite revealed that next to the empty swimming pool were the said thermal pools. £1.80 later I was in; its rather basic and spartan with about six other elerly / overweight swimmers ...

I must say that I was somewhat unimpressed by Lake Balaton, although the sight of our elderly, cynical program director stripping down to a speedo for a quick dip was something I won't soon forget. Balaton has a reputation as a huge destination for Hungarians but when we were there the weather was less than ideal and it was pretty much deserted. I think most of the people who voted for the lake regretted their decision.

... pathway (I don`t recommend for the eldery, because it`s too steep) or take the sightseeing train which leaves from the main street, called Kossuth Lajos utca.<br> The peninsula has two inside lakes as well. Tihany has vineyards, the Balaton area is famous for its wine and lavender.

... navigácii (4 &#318;udia - 4 navigácie, kazdá iná.) Nakoniec bankomat nachádzame a Valér skúsa, &#269;i mu nezadrzí kartu. Nezadrzí :) Cestou spä&#357; zis&#357;ujeme odchody vlakov. Po opätovnom návrate do kempu ideme s Valérom po melón, ktorý neskôr burzoáznym spôsobom zjeme pred o&#269;ami opa&#318;ujúcich sa hostí kempu. Umytie rúk v Balatóne nikto nekomentuje. Neviem ani ako, ale vystala potreba nájs&#357; internet-café. Klasickou ma&#271;arskou ...
