    ... Malaga then it becomes more mountainous and harsh. After Granada there are parts which remind us of the desert road between Khiva and Bukhara in Uzbekistan. Very scrubby and dry land. Once we get back to the coastal ribbon we see fields and fields of citrus, oranges and lemons before it becomes much more industrial near Lorca and Murcia.     Ian and Sue kindly drove us to Xeraco to catch the train to Valencia, from which we could get a train to Barcelona to pick up the hire car. The train journey is in two parts and it turns out you can't buy a ticket for the whole journey.     ... having enjoyed a beverage out on our balcony drinking in our sensational view we would stroll the Paseo Maritimo Infanta Elena. Our time in Spain had evolved into a little bit of a Sangria tasting tour and there was no shortage of venues from which to indulge.
