    Today we start with a canal boat ride that takes us around the canals and see the city in the morning. The city is 8 feet below sea level. It is built on swamps, that is why they have so many canals. The one thing you notice right away is that for a city of 800,000 people, they have about 1,000,000 bicycles. The bicyclists rule the road. Everyone here ride them. And you do not see anyone wearing helmets while biking. The Dutch just do not like that. It is their best mode ...

    It was hard to go back to the tent after the nice hotel, but within 45 minutes we had checked out of the hotel back into a campsite and setup ready for step 2. We are getting really good at transitioning living situations. On top of that we have this tent thing worked out. It’s just a task now instead of a mission. EZPZ.
