    ... most. At least we don't have far to walk to breakfast unlike some of the motels we stayed in Turkey. Returned from pre dinner briefing to find our beds turned down and the mini bar restocked. Noted: 1. They have under cover bike parking stations. Bikes are chained everywhere looks a bit like the bike section at Revolve back home. 2. The universal walk sign to cross the road doesn't seem to apply to cyclists. One time crossing the road had to stop to let a bike go by against the red ...

    ... of Human nature. Although it can be a tad confronting. But that's part of the charm of Amsterdam. This morning we had booked a tourist half day trip out to the countryside to see the windmills, cheese factory, clog makers and a so called old fishing village.     Up at 3 am ( supposed to be a holiday ) to catch plane to Amsterdam , only 45 min flight but not great as I had a bloke spewing most of the way beside me !!!     ... People were riding them, the bus stops at the side of the roads had stationary bikes in the bike racks and leaning up against trees. They were propped up against trees and lying on the ground. I don't know how one place can have so many bikes.  There was lots of water, both falling from the sky and in canals and small dams. If fact, there were lots and lots of dams.  Did I mention there are LOTS of bikes? ...
