      ... same area as last September because it has power, water and drainage (if we can get it for the ACSI price of €16 we’ll be lucky!) last time there were 3 others in our secluded spot. This time we were the only occupants!

      ... hotel has 801 rooms with over 120 staff members on the HK Department alone! Upon arrival, I will be cleaning rooms for about 1 or 2 weeks and after that, I will mainly be supervising and controlling. Corresponding with trainees that are currently there has taught me to have a flexible attitude as it'll never be the same.

      To be on the bus by 8am for the city tour and canal cruise required an earlier start than usual. To warm up for the day, a hot cuppa was available for the early birds at 6am, but 7am was a more respectable time to be seated for breakfast.
