... and most of the coastline was damaged. Take a look at the pictures and video to get a better idea of what it looks like today. We could get a sense that it was once a beautiful waterfront, with piers and buildings and snack stands. But that all lies in ruin today, with a sad amount of trash washing up on the shore and the small beach area we found.

We slept in a bit this morning as we had nowhere to be until 11:00. After getting up we headed back to the bike shop to renew our bike rental for another day. They definitely lets us cover much more ground. For breakfast we went to a different restaurant that was highly rated and we were not disappointed. Everything was home made and fresh. Breakfast cleaned us out of our last Colones. We have only managed to find one ATM that works with our cards in Costa Rica so unfortunately ...

In the afternoon, we read and watch the sea go by. We have attended a few sessions on what there is to do in the various ports of call.

I go to a Pilates class a 4 pm. I am now able to touch my knees – note not toes – but knees – working my way down to my shins – should make that in a couple of years with any luck.

... note, I was thinking of starting a T-Rex rescue centre in Joburg for two reasons; I'm 100% unemployed, and its a flawless business model as humans are far too inquisitive to not visit my little rescue centre where dreams go to die.
