    An early morning wake up and we were off to the airport for a flight to Crete. A hour drive and a 35min flight and we had arrived. We had an amazing driver take up to the hotel/resort.     ... from fried whole shrimp and kythariki to grilled sardines and dolmades. The seafood in Crete is notoriously good, but everything else was just as delicious!!     ... the Island in Myrtos. The stops before Myrtos were unremarkable but the drive over there, in a four hour loop, took in some staggering views and both beautiful and bleak countryside.     ... Karpathos, specifically Olympos, actually means around 500 people. It's hardly Wembley.
