    Tasting unpasteurised beer made using traditional methods was Brendans highlight (drinking my share made it all the more worthwhile) My highlight was dinner.. steak, beans, wedges and grilled vegetables!

    We arrived in Passau a little before breakfast. I slept a little late because Al was snoring and I was wide awake so I caught up on my journal entries. Just heard from Sylvia and Sue Ball that Erica is in labor!! So exciting!! Now I have a reason to buy a little Austrian sweater for a baby!!

    ... Rep that was formed when a large dam was built.

    Cesky Krumlov was a beautiful town built on a couple of sharp bends in the Vltava River, the longest river in the Czech Rep. The old part has a huge castle. Again tough to do it justice in the pictures. We had a guided walking tour, then lunch and an hour and half free time to tour ourselves. Then back on the bus to me the boat in Germany. We sailed at 6:00 PM and our next stop is Regenburg.

    We arrived in Passau this morning and for MJ and I, it was a bit of a scramble. We overslept and only woke 20 minutes before our departure for the walking tour. A coffee and a pastry and we were good to go.
