Passau, Germany, city of three rivers.
Passau lies at the confluence of the Inn, Danube, and Ilz rivers and the city is on a peninsula jutting out into the rivers. Last major city on the Danube bordering Austria. There was an additional option of riding another 10 miles to Passau (pass ow) where we would ...
Austria, Czech Republic and Germany in One day
... of the night to reach Linz but I did not get to see very much of the town because we were whisked away to the Czech Republic town of Cesky Krumlov at 8:00am for a whole day tour. We had a lovey drive through the Austrian countryside before crossing the border into the once Iron Curtin zone before heading into the Czech Republic.
