    ... shop purchased Spanish shawl and jacket. More walking and ended up at Port Vell, sat on steps by marina in beautiful sunshine, headed back to hotel via. Lots of streets(have to admit got a little lost (found way) and finally collapsed on bed. All in all a wonderful holiday. Amazing what you can see in just 2 days ...

    So we woke up and had our free brekkie at the hostel pondering on where we could spend our last 2 nights in Barca???we had to be out of the hostel by 11:00 so time was of the evanescence! I wrote on the Barca couch surfing forum urgently asking if anyone could put us up for the 2 nights....we didn't want to stress too much so we headed for a day at the beach/potential nights sleep!     As we drove out of Valencia there were orange tree plantations all over the show. Most of the oranges have already been harvested as only a few trees still had oranges on. Pine trees were everywhere and occasionally we drove along the waters edge and saw the odd beaches or rocky shorelines.
