Today was a day filled with lots of traveling to reach Lyon. The first stop was at La Fontainebleau, where a stunning chateau of Napolean was the site of the day. After a delicious cuppachino at a French bistro, the journey continued. After another 2 hours journey we reach Chateau De Cruix in the Boujelais Wine Region. The scenic hills of the vineyards surrounded us as we were given the opportunity to taste some of the award winning wine along with some ...

... big five on our around the world adventure. Lyon really is a beautiful city with amazing architecture and cobbled lanes. The city has embraced open spaces and squares. If ever you are going to live overseas to work for a period this could be the city as it ticks all the boxes. In summer everyone seems fit and active on bikes, running or rowing on the river. Come winter you are right next to endless snow skiing opportunities and also a ...

... just before our destination when disaster struck. Coming to a bend in the road a car got a little close to the centre for my liking forcing me to head to the right. Unfortunately for a parked car this was a little close for his wing mirror. We pulled over and assessed the damage. Our beast suffered little and when we went in search of the other victim the car had vanished. My nerves slightly frayed we finally reached Moustiers. Upon parking up ...
