We are in a place called Patong in Phuket, it is the very very bottom of Thailand. Phuket is full of different beaches and is very much a coastal resort. With lots of different bars, restaurants and the famous Bangler Rd!! The taxis are pretty cute and I really like them (see pics)they are like mini fire engines! Lol….. me and Daz also think we have a new business start up! Our plan is to buy 6/7 taxis over here and bring them to Liverpool!! And they will operate only within ...

... breakfast at the resort, we wanted to make our way over to the fourth main part of the Railay peninsula, which is Phra Nang on the south side. The 'trail' is really a climb up the side of the cliff, ...

Today was a day we needed to set the alarm in order to get in a quick run, eat some breakfast, get ourselves together and be at the meeting point by 8:45AM. Our speed boat was due to arrive around 8:45AM so being the punctual ladies we are we showed up at 8:45AM on the dot. We sat with our iced latte until 9:05AM and still no speed boat. We read through the confirmation documentation again to make sure we didn't miss anything. No, we got it right, 8:45AM in front of Sand Sea Resort. ...

What we've been up to

... re locked into a little dump whose only redeeming attribute is easy beach access. It's been raining for the past week pretty much every day, so not as much fun to get out and about. There are a few bright spots; we did a fun boat tour around the tip of Phuket and up to a lovely beach to a great restaurant on the water. The weather was very gray, but just being out on the water was nice, and the group was small ...
