Town of Gingerbread
... to rest. In the evening we took a walk through town to admire the town at night (it is lite up showcasing the many historical buildings within the Old Town). The town was abuzz with university students and locals hanging out in the outdoor terraces (a cool night with blankets distributed to those who needed them) drinking, smoking and catching up on life. Copernicus and Gingerbread

His house is now a museum. It looks like a tall church. It has ...
Born Toruń
... that we had, the unexpected discovery of this hidden gem of a place that with the benefit of hindsight, I regret not staying longer. Toruń use to be known only to the Poles as a place worth visiting. Not anymore. However move on I must. Three hours by train later, I’m in Gdańsk for Ireland’s second match against reigning world and European champions Spain. Will Ireland get a predictable pasting or a shock surprise? Let’s wait and ...
