The day ended with dinner at a little Italian restaurant-pizza, salad, wine and gelato-a nice change from the heavy Czech food. We walked back under the gorgeous full moon, enjoying the night views of the castle
... Krumlov and pulled in for a snack at Barbakan Restaurant overlooking river. Talked to two lovely and chatty middle aged ladies from Oregan, USA as big tables so needed to share. Food ******, had a soup, two beers and shared information with the ladies. Gave us good tips about the town for eating as they had an excellent guide book as doing a tour.

My hostel was a combination between a guest house and hostel in an amazing old house where I had to bend to get through the doors and nothing was quiet perfectly straight right on the rivers edge.
