... After the tour we walked down by the river to watch some of the rafts and boats come through the rapids and then took a look at some of the galleries in town.

We returned to the restaurant at the Eggenberg Brewery for an early dinner. We mixed sausage wrapped in bacon with horseradish and mustard, and grilled Camembert and cranberries with the Argentina-Belgium World Cup quarter final and another litre of the Eggenberg dark beer.

It was a good night.

... then as we came around a bend a break in the trees allowed us to see a huge wind turbine turning slowly in the breeze. I hit the button on the handlebars that activates the camera, but unfortunately when I reviewed the footage the camera was automatically adjusting the white balance for the road which was darkened by the surrounding trees, so the light streaming through the break in the trees just showed up as white on the recording, the turbine wasn't visible. ... are booked into the old Jesuit monastery which is now a hotel. A little quirky but steeped in history. Rooms are a lot smaller but clean and adequate.

Off to the town to explore! We went on a tour of the town which included the palace (inside and out) and various shops, churches etc. This town is gorgeous, lots of little places to take photos and the town is exactly what you would imagine/hope a little European town to be.
