We stopped at a couple of small towns on the way, which was very nice. Cesky Krumlov is a really beautiful small town & we will get the chance to explore it more ...

Went to a turnoff in the next town and a blonde haired 30ish lady was picking apples in her front yard, wearing a shirt and purple underwear only! Noticed us and pulled down shirt discreetly at back but made no difference. Wasn’t expecting us to trundle past! Hahaha

Dropped into the valley and followed the river around Divci Kamen. ...

... around the new town, and found the main boulevard and shopping street, a la Champs Elysées, with the enormous Museum at the top of the hill.

We reconvened for lunch before taking the very fancy coach to Cesky Krumlov, complete with our own hostess offering us free tea, coffee and hot chocolate. We whiled away the three hour trip by watching an average to bad American thriller with Liam Neeson.

The rain followed us to the ...
