      ... party starts early in the afternoon and runs pretty much all night. For some reason, pigs are a symbol of good luck in the new year and pink piggy hats are a popular item at the souvenir stands. Of course, warm punsch is also available.       ... snow was appearing in the paddocks and side of the road. We stopped to take photos of the thatched cottage and the nice gentleman invited us in to his property which we did. He was very friendly which was nice as a lot of Germans and Austrians have been very abrupt. We have stumbled across a few nice ones for the record.       ... it was a long climb up and we approached over the moat, in the moat there were three brown bears. Bears have been here for centuries and there were many bear pelts on the floor of the castle. We had an excellent tour of the castle, it seems to have been owned or held for one family for a few centuries and then because of no heir going to another family.       ... We wandered back over the bridge past them again, and Darren sang at them again, which made them laugh even more!
