We started our drive from Kraków, Poland to Levoča, Slovakia on Sunday morning and decided to make a pit stop in Zakopane, Poland. Wow! We were so stoked we stopped in this cute little mountain town. It was a little out of the way but had such a cute, quaint feel to it: lots of restaurants, cafes, and shops. We walked around for a couple hours, got some lunch and ice cream and got back on our way. And ...

PAREEEE

Up early today as we have so much site seeing to do!!! We decide to walk most of it as from our hostel we were only 5km to the Eiffel Tower but there were lots of things to see along the way. What I liked about this site was its archaeological significance as well. It wasn't just an historic site reconstructed to how it once looked, with replica bedrooms and hallways. This was more of 'what's left' kind of site. There was a museum within the walls that did have some of this, like a ...

Tomorrow is the last day of the cycling portion of this trip. We may do a bike tour in Budapest, not decided yet. Right now I'm thinking of all the different impressions that are swirling in my head, stuffed with a week's worth of dumplings, potatoes and cabbage as it is. And two evenings of trout, we are on mountain rivers and trout is what's for dinner.
could write about the hills ...
