What a magic day. In the morning we made fresh tracks through powder knee deep, which was magic. Later we did some off piste skiing through waist deep powder which was fun but tricky. This is a town that doesn't start till 9am. We thought we could catch up on early breakfast and get moving. At 8.30am, we could not find any coffeeshop that is open. I do find it odd that the Furano March coffeeshop doesn't open till 9am. Guess the tour buses don't start arriving till then.
Made our way to the Ningle terrace near the Shin Crown Plaza. Not much to see in the morning. The main coffeeshop there opens at 10am.

... we headed off to Tomita farm. This was clearly the most touristy spot of all of Furano. There were so many huge tour buses as well as independent travellers like us. The highlight is definitely the sake testing. The non premium sake tasting Is free. The few premium sake they do charge a nominal fee. For 150 yen, I tasted a full to the brim cup of the most expensive premium sake. Which we eventually bought. Think it was about 5940 yen.
