As I booked this tour not long ago, all the rooms in the farmhouse are taken, so I have been accommodated in a lovely house, all to myself, 50 metres up the lane. ... my mother was suitably unimpressed and refused to come in. Really it was just an old school headmaster who had thought to make up and animate some of the old Slovenian fairytales so made up a walking trail with things for the kids to stop and look at every few paces... all from recycled materials he found and worked with.

She had lost the home during the Communist years, but it has now been reclaimed and restored with comfortable room in the compact Old Town of Ptuj.
